The outdoor oven
Acts like an oven
The EGG allows you to cook in both direct and indirect heat. Direct involves cooking above the burning coals, essentially using the EGG as a grill. Indirect uses a ceramic plate to deflect the heat of the coals around the Dome, much like a convection oven, perfect for roasting or baking.
Holds it steady
With its patented airflow system and impressive heat retention, the EGG offers precise temperature control. Whether searing at 400°C, roasting at a steady 200°C or slow cooking overnight at 110°C, take it to the temperature you want and then keep it there with minimal fuss.
Cooks for hours
Thanks to the Dome’s heat-sealing properties, the EGG is quick to light and can be ready to cook on in as little as 15 minutes, but its incredible efficiency means that a single load of pure lumpwood charcoal can last for hours on end.
Weekdays and weekends
Under that ceramic Dome, cooking in one of our kamado ovens is an activity that can be enjoyed all year round, whatever the weather. And because of its speed, you can fire it up without any great fanfare, as good for a weekday dinner as it is for weekend feast.
