About the fire ring
The fire ring sits directly on top of the firebox and provides support for your ConvEGGtor or Dual Zone Kit. It's excellent at retaining heat, and is made out of the same premium ceramics as the dappled green base and dome.

Your lifetime warranty covers the EGG’s ceramic components (Base, Dome, Firebox and Fire Ring). The ceramic ConvEGGtor and Half Moon Deflector Stones carry a 3-year warranty. The metal components (rEGGulator, Stainless Steel Grid, Dual zone Basket, Fire Grate, Bands and Draft Door) are covered by a 5-year warranty. Wooden products (tables and shelves), the Tel-Tru and the Gasket are covered by a 1-year warranty.
