Cook to temperature, not time: that’s the Big Green Egg mantra. Our new Predictive Thermometer and Wifi Display Bundle, created in collaboration with Combustion Inc, makes this easier than ever before.
Presented in a stylish storage case, the bundle comes with two Predictive Thermometers. Each of these wireless probes contains eight precision sensors, which measure the core and surface temperature of your food and the ambient temperature of your EGG. Combustion Inc’s prediction engine uses the readings to calculate the remaining time, allowing you to schedule the rest of your prep with complete confidence.
The Combustion Inc mobile app, available for both iOS and Android, makes it simple to set up and monitor each cook. The bundle also comes with a Wifi Display unit, which allows you to keep a watchful eye on the progress of your cook without having to constantly open the app. Focus on flavour, not on your phone.

Eight sensors
Eight precision sensors on each Predictive Thermometer allow you to see readings of both the core temperature and surface temperature of your food, as well as the ambient temperature within the EGG.

The Predictive Thermometers have a battery life of up to 24 hours per charge, long enough to cook even the lowest and slowest of briskets.
Heat-resistant protection
With their element-proof hermetic-brazed seal, the Predictive Thermometers enjoy the highest level of heat-resistant protection for consistent ambient temperatures of up to 400°C.
Easy to differentiate
Both thermometers can be used at once, and the bundle comes with ID tags to help differentiate them. This allows you to take readings from two parts of the same dish, or track two different dishes at once.
FAQs
The Precision Thermometers are suitable for continuous ambient temperatures of up to 400°C and an absolute maximum temperature of 480°C. The internal sensors are designed to measure food temperatures of up to 105°C.
The Precision Thermometers connect to the Wifi Display via Bluetooth. Thanks to its built-in range extender, the Wifi Display has an unobstructed Bluetooth range of up to 100m.
The Wifi Display then connects to your wifi network, allowing you to track and control your cook from anywhere in the world using the Combustion Inc mobile app.
The precision thermometers can last up to 24 hours on a full charge, while the wifi display will stay charged for 28 days when connected or up to six months when switched off.

To test out the new thermometer bundle, as well as our new Falcon Enamelware Oven to Table Pie Dish, we spent the day baking pies with Will Lewis of Willy’s Pies. For his chicken pie recipe, we roasted the chicken first and timed it using the probes. The result: crispy golden skin, juicy but properly cooked meat. “It was literally perfect,” says Will.
